After spending an amazing time in Antalya, we came back to Istanbul on 10th July 2017 for our final stay and returned to our homeland, that is, “Pakistan”. Our experience at staying at Hotel Istanbul Trend was very good except for two or three things that we did not like there.

Hotel Istanbul Trend Booking

Like other hotel bookings in Turkey and keeping in view our selection criteria, which I have already shared with all of you in different articles, we booked another four-star hotel, the Trend Hotel at the central location of Istanbul in Fatih through Booking.com.

Hotel Istanbul Trend Rooms
I really like the rooms of the hotel because they were depicting the true picture of a four-star hotel. Centrally air-conditioned rooms equipped with LED, an Electric Tea Kettle with tea bags and sugar, a room refrigerator with water, chocolates, and cold drinks.

The sizes of the rooms and washrooms were small, beds and mattresses were very comfortable, and the lighting of the room was creating a good ambience. During the overnight stay, we did not call them for any room services, so reviews are not possible for the same. Except for room comfort, Hotel Trend had small stairs & corridors to move.

Hotel Istanbul Trend Breakfast
Without breakfast, you cannot move around and enjoy your trip, so in all cases we selected our hotels with complimentary breakfast. The next morning of our stay at Hotel Istanbul Trend, we went for a buffet breakfast and found lots of dishes to fill our stomachs in a small hall on the upper portion of the hotel.

Location of the Hotel Istanbul Trend
I will rate 5 for its location as it was very close to most of the Old Town historical places and attractions. If I told you the distances of a few locations from the Hotel Istanbul Trend, then you would better under. An Askaray & Laleli Tram Stations were only 50 m & 500 m away, respectively. Laleli & Suleymaniye Mosques were at 350 m & 1.2 km away respectively. Yenikapi Train Station & Marmary Yenikapi were around 450 m to 500 m. Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar & Hagia Sophia were only 1.6 km & 2.2 km from the Hotel Istanbul Trend.

Hotel Booking in Istanbul Turkey

The Marmara Sea was only 0.5 km away. Super Markets, Restaurants, Cafes, Bars and Bakeries/Café/Bar were within the range of 200m walking distance. To reach the Airport, you can access the Airport shuttle service from outside the hotel.

Facilities available at the Hotel Istanbul Trend
An attraction of selecting this hotel was also its outdoor swimming pool available on the rooftop. Personally, I did not go there, the reason was a shortage of time & tiredness, but one of our group members reached the top and shared with us that it was very clean to swim. We missed it. Other facilities were free of cost: Wifi internet, Turkish or Steam Bath, Spa at additional charges, Sauna, Indoor swimming pool, Massage in additional charges, Airport Shuttle, and Car rental services.

Now, I will share what I did not like about the Hotel Istanbul Trend. First, it was very close to the main road, and the movement of traffic was disturbing. Second, there were lots of Pubs just under and close to the hotel that were causing the disturbance. Third, we did not extend our stay at Hotel Istanbul Trend more than one night because of their manager, who was very rude; money was more important than customer satisfaction for him.

In the upcoming turkey namaa article, I will share how we found a Hotel for a night’s Stay in Istanbul, Turkey.
